The Boise Beardsmen

The Boise Beardsmen is an ongoing project started in November of 2011 as both a design experiment and a desire to develop a community of bearded men in the Boise area.
Included in the identity of the club is a marketing strategy based on word of mouth and invite cards. Members who attend the monthly meetings are given Boise Beardsmen “Come grow with us!” cards and are encouraged to hand them off to other beardsmen they see around town. This serves as a way to inform the bearded gentleman of the club as well as complement his beard.
